I am a motivated, professional software engineer, and I love architecting and implementing systems that are efficient, creative, and scalable.  The majority of my time is spent on backend solutions (microservices, database management, third-party API integration, etc), but I am comfortable dabbling in frontend work if the project requires it.  I don't like getting bogged down in roles, formal requests via ticket systems, and other general bureaucracy; I want to come up with a plan and hit the ground running.  As such, I work well in a fast-paced start-up culture such as my current role at Farmers Business Network.
