Internal transfer to the Payroll Lifecycle team in the Payroll Services group.
Architect of project critical to securing JPMorgan Chase deal on a 3-5 year roadmap impacting all of engineering (200+.) Initial spike leading 30+ direct individuals on 9 teams across 4 orgs on a project originally scoped for 1.5 years in an 8 month timeframe with milestone delivery ahead of schedule on shortened timeframes. Leveraged this project to up-level several engineers and develop architectural maturity across different teams by lining up mutually beneficial projects and growth paths.
Leveraged findings from above project to drive engineering maturity efforts around design documents, review process, testing practices, and technical mentoring at a company level. Established core principles of stability, security, performance, and compliance to ensure delivery on large scale projects with greater confidence. Achieved 98% reduction of outages compared to similar projects, totaling 1 outage in 1 year project run.
Identified critical investment opportunity on internal stability, presented to executive and financial staff, and received funding to create teams to triage the issue. Direct investment in hiring Senior to Principal level engineers to lead the initiative, including sourcing industry experts to consult with. Project has already prevented millions in losses.
Lead for mentorship and testing guilds with a focus on up-leveling engineers across the company and pairing them with mentors which can help them grow more effectively. Additionally automated process of matching several hundred engineers.
Lead for Core Interviewers group to standardize and raise the bar for technical interviewing across the company, as well as training and up-leveling new and current interviewers.

Promoted to Principal Engineer. Continuing work on Ruby architecture and core language groups across the company, and defining and scaling systems for educating engineers through documentation, dedicated lessons, book clubs, and direct mentorship.
Created Language Core group to manage language frameworks across Java, Go, Ruby, and other minor languages. Used to drive annual planning, budget, and company-wide language support goals.
Expanded these goals into vision documents, 3-5 year roadmaps, growth strategies for hiring and leveling engineers, and supporting languages at scale from a team of three engineers to a proposed organization to formally staff a previously volunteer led effort.
Instrumental in the promotion of over 40 engineers, many to Principal and Senior levels, through direct mentorship, education, and advocacy.
Later reorganized under Developers organization from Platform.
Global Co-Chair of Neurodiversity over community of 1000+ members. Organized events, created manager training materials, introduced default interview accommodations, refined engineering levels, and created support networks for members. Advocated at executive level for accommodations across multiple business units with a history of delivery for the community.
