For me, a project is successful when my work has produced a more enjoyable, effective, and beneficial experience for the people using the product or service. ## Work Experience ### Senior Designer @ Critical Mass Jan 2025 – Present ### UX Designer @ Tential Solutions Jan 2024 – Jan 2025 Lead designer on project building a web app for the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services that will improve their existing Discharge Assistance Program. Work includes meetings with State of Virginia employees to learn about their work and experience with the existing process, translating that learning into user flows based on around different features and requirements, and collaborating with key stakeholders to refine those designs before handing them off to our development team. ### UX Visual Designer @ BayOne Solutions Jan 2023 – Jan 2024 | San Francisco Bay Area Worked on the AOD and Lock screen team for Android UX team. Responsible for collaborating with a large, cross-functional team and owning the UX Visual Design work for 2025 updates to the existing Smartspace component as well as a new feature. Presented progress updates based on extensive design explorations to larger team and directors on a 2-4 week cadence for both projects over a period of several months. Built detailed UI specs for handheld, foldable, and tablet devices. ### Senior Product Designer @ Figure Jan 2021 – Jan 2023 | San Francisco Bay Area Lead the design of Figure Pay products, including the consumer facing native mobile app and the CSP web app for participating businesses to manage their customers Lead the design of the Ready Pay app, a white label project for a client that required rebranding of the Figure Pay app to a dark theme with the clients color palette as well as the addition of new features Lead the design for private label lending products and contributed to other lending products, most notably the consumer facing dashboard for HE-Loan Collaborated on and then lead the design work for the main Figure brand design system. Met regularly with front-end team, conducted design reviews, led effort to consolidate the component set, wrote guidelines, built new components, reconciled conflicting components, and audited icon set and updated it’s organization to aid discoverability and proper usage ### Product Designer @ Microsoft Jan 2020 – Jan 2021 | Seattle, Washington, United States Redesigned the Surface App with a focus on updating the UI to align with upcoming Windows OS release while building on existing visual concepts.
