During my time at Intuit, I worked on the Intuit Online Payroll product.  My task was integrate a new search engine, Apache Solr, into the existing help system.  This search engine allowed us to add meta data with the ability to boost certain attributes for better search results.  Solr also allowed us to index 3rd party content such as Intuit's Online Community as well as relevant government sites for dealing with customer's tax concerns.  I pushed code to Intuit Online Payroll's 300,000+ users.  Most of the work was done in Javascript and Java.

I was promoted to manager of all the engineering and computer science tutors. My responsibilities include monitoring their visits, organizing team meetings and events, and offer suggestions to enhance their tutoring meetings. Since being promoted, I have worked to set up tutoring seminars with guest speakers. As web coordinator I maintain and troubleshoot the email database of approximately 1,000 students. I also create and issue quality-assessment surveys throughout the year.
