- The server allows teachers to perform CRUD operations for proficiencies for different subjects and grades which helps determine how a student is doing.
- Created an Apache Airflow Dag workflow that keeps two different databases in synch. Before many of the microservices had no access to crucial data. The workflow was deployed to an EC2 instance, which takes a CSV snapshot of the process through a java application that produces JSON events to send to a Kafka topic and an Apache Spark that process them and create SQL to update the database for the microservices.
