As the inaugural high-school class at Nueva, we are setting the community standards and guidelines for the classes that will follow. As the lead, one of my primary responsibilities is to serve as the liaison between students and staff. We have initiated various projects that create a positive impact for the school. For example, we have established communication process, and installed display screens at the school to inform students about sports and service events. We also organize numerous spirit and social events at the school. I was the first student council lead for Nueva's inaugural class, and was re-elected two years consecutively. ### Under Secretary General for Administration @ Model United Nations The Nueva School Jan 2013 – Jan 2017 | San Francisco Bay Area I was a founding member of Nueva high-school's Model United Nations (MUN) team. Our team travels and represents as delegates to local and national MUN conferences. I have served as a delegate the Regional High-School MUN events each year since 2013 to 2015. In 2016, The Nueva School hosted a three-day MUN conference. I served as the Under Secretary General for Administration, overseeing all conference logistics including meals, hotel reservations, conference registration, making venue reservations, and organizing opening ceremonies. ### Team Captain - 98G Impact @ Palo Alto Soccer Club Jan 2014 – Jan 2016 I have played soccer since I could walk and have been playing competitively in travel teams since I was nine years old. Impact 98G played in the Norcal National Premier League. I most frequently play in the central midfield position. I was selected for the 2011-2012 California Youth Soccer Association (CYSA) Olympic Development Program State Pool. ### Student Intern @ Lab4U Jan 2016 – Jan 2016 Lab4U provides a platform that enables hands-on lab experiences through mobile devices, delivering low-cost solutions for Science Education. During my internship, I created interactive mockups for a new user interface, which included modifications to the color scheme, typography, integration of new graphics, and changes to the flow based on user feedback. I worked with classroom teachers to discover user needs, and interacted with Lab4U's product team in Chile to get feedback and discuss possible future changes to the interface. ### Keynote Speaker @ PBL World 2016 - Buck Institute of Education Jan 2016 – Jan 2016 | Napa Valley, California With my sister, I served as one of the PBL World 2016 speakers, lending my voice and experience in project-based learning in the classroom. The audience consisted of over 800 educators who understood the value of project based learning. ### Co Founder @ TribeAwesome Jan 2011 – Jan 2014 I started a non-profit with my friends focused on 'making what matters’. Our main project was an aeroponic system for growing plants with very little water.
