• Joined as the 50th employee. In charge of developing and maintaining the frameworks and libraries that allow internal teams and open-source contributors to more effectively build and maintain Airbyte's extensive catalog of over 500+ integrations.
• Tech lead responsible for managing systems including the Python SDK library, low-code YAML language, form based UI editor, and end-to-end test services that allows all types of user personas to extract data from web-based API sources.
• Primary subject matter expert on how integrations interact with the Airbyte platform. Act as the representative for cross-team design decisions and project owner across multiple work streams and initiatives each quarter.

Segment was acquired by Twilio in November 2020.
• Technical lead within Twilio Segment’s growth marketing and user segmentation product. Team purview includes managing how data is transmitted to partner APIs.
• Responsible for maintaining and improving data pipeline components that process billions of messages per hour in real time with zero downtime.
• Champion the architectural and software development philosophy within the team and across the entire business unit for features related user data synchronization to partner integrations.
• In charge of onboarding team members and providing career guidance to early in career engineers. Supervise architecture and feature design sessions to facilitate technical growth within teammates and foster inclusion with rituals like engineer office hours.

• Design and implement tools and frameworks empowering internal and external application developers to expose company data in a RESTful format.
• Organize and coordinate the implementation of major team initiatives such as REST API versioning, beginning with preliminary development all the way to public release and customer demonstrations.
• Approach and consider problems from both a usability and engineering perspective in order to maintain a robust system design while providing an optimal user experience for stakeholders.
• Devise and advance team efforts to improve code quality and team productivity. Areas of improvement include major redesigns of the project object model and refactors of the end-to-end testing module.

• Rotated through backend engineering teams across the company to learn about and work with various components within the Workday product. Teams I worked with include Cloud Connect Financials, UI Server, and Visual Platform Services.
• Responsible for driving new features and projects as an embedded engineer including new financial integrations to ingest bank records, redesigning the employee graph and hierarchy generation, and creation of new UI widgets to support product features.
• Acquired new insight on how different teams operate on a day to day basis while adapting to each team’s best practices and offering new techniques to improve collaboration for each team I was a part of.
