# Brian Nguyen > Product Design Lead Location: San Francisco Bay Area, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/briannguyen3 I'm a seasoned product designer with a diverse skill set. I'm able to get in the trenches and be hands on in the entire process (user research, sketching, wireframing, visual design, testing, iterating), or take a step back and mentor designers to push them and their designs to be as best as possible. Often times, I'm doing a bit of both. I'm comfortable working with and presenting to stakeholders our stories and backing up design decisions, while also vetting designs with engineers to make sure we're on the same page from all perspectives. At Google, I designed and researched for several internal engineering tools that are critical to efficient and productive workflows in the development, testing, and release of the Android operating system. At SocialChorus, I lead the product design efforts on all fronts for responsive web and native iOS and Android apps. At MashON I was responsible for leading the design team in the user experience and visual design of applications, eCommerce, and merchandise product design. At Lambesis, I worked within an ad agency design team to create immersive interactive experiences. In my spare time, I work with clients under my Presequel studio name. I believe in merging usability with desirability, keeping things simple, and focusing on the user first. ## Work Experience ### UX Design Lead @ Genentech Jan 2024 – Present | San Francisco Bay Area ### Senior Product Designer @ DNA Script Jan 2020 – Jan 2024 | San Francisco & Paris Led end-to-end UX design for SYNTAX cloud software and instrument control applications, ensuring seamless integration between software and hardware.
