I make frontends for websites or web-technology based applications. This means my experience is with JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS (and its preprocessor dialects), HTML, and JS component frameworks like Svelte. I also have significant experience with the complex CodeMirror 6 editor library.

I really appreciate the FOSS community and have made many contributions to it, such as:
- Wrote the VSCode tmLanguage grammar (syntax highlighting) for the official Svelte extension
- Various other bits and pieces for the Svelte ecosystem, e.g. some work with the ESLint extension
- Bugfixes for the Vite ecosystem
- and others.

I have also released various personal projects:
- Espells: basically the only complete spellchecking solution for JavaScript
- Tarnation: An alternative and fast language parser for CodeMirror 6

I am self-taught. I mostly owe my skills to the years of game modifications and other community driven efforts I have participated in, as they provided a foundation of widespread technical experience. This foundation includes 3D modelling and 3D animation experience, but I am definitely most skilled in programming tasks.
