As 1st PM hire, I work directly with the Director of Product and Senior Product Designer to help Mayvenn pivot from an ecommerce platform that sells hair extensions to a hairstylist booking platform. Work included:
Managing product growth initiatives through research, strategic planning, and implementation.
Leading biweekly conversion rate optimization meetings between the Product and Data/Growth teams
Improving Mayvenn's product roadmap and develop methods for assessing product and project success
Scoping product features and writing product requirements/user stories in tracker
Reporting progress, milestones, deliverables and lessons learned to all applicable stakeholders
Conducting user and competitive research to uncover user segments, their needs/pain points and product value propositions that would resonate with those segments and address their needs
Analyzing and distilling user/company data in Woopra and Looker

Pique: The Common Application for Scholarships is a scholarship marketplace web app that standardized the scholarship application process for students and scholarship organizations. Pique allows students to apply to unlimited scholarships with a standardized profile and provides scholarship organizations with an application management tool to review submitted applications.

Managed the customer discovery process and launched Pique’s pilot program with 5 scholarship organizations, 15 and 10 high schools to test key assumptions surrounding user pain points, Pique’s product offering and more
Managed two engineers and launched a several products including: an application management tool for scholarship organizations, an ‘invite feature’ that allowed educators invite and onboard groups 50+ students with a click of a button, and a standardized profile for students
