• Series B startup helping caregivers thrive at home, work, and in life. Delivering B2B2C products to employers and health plans for the benefit of their employees and members. Started as Director of Product Design and was promoted to Head of Design.
Highlights of company achievements impacted by Design:
• Secured $20M funding round
• Expanded product offering to include childcare, pet care, and after loss support
• Relaunched B2B business with evolved brand and new website to drive engagement with our expanded product offering. The website saw a 200% increase in traffic.
• Launched first iOS app
• Expanded AI beyond chat, driving a fully personalized experience across all tools and guidance in the product

• Established and grew the Design Team of 6, including individual contributors across Product Design and Brand & Creative Design

• 3+ million mobile app users with an App Store rating of 4.8 stars (40k reviews)
• Increased our consumer product Must-Have score from 49% in 2021 to 65% in 2023 — the industry benchmark for product-market-fit is 40%)
• Launch of Kinsa’s Illness Prevention Program — insights delivered via email & SMS to health plan members — resulting in a 49% Must-Have score 10 months post-launch and 92% of respondents reporting behavior change
• Relaunch of B2B business with new brand and website, with product packaging for Pharma, Consumer Health, and Media solutions
• B2B stats: 110% YOY growth in SaaS ARR, 150% growth in key accounts, NPS score >30
My role and responsibilities:
• Led the Design team of 8, including individual contributors and managers across Product Design and Brand & Creative Design. Set all company design practices and drove strategic and roadmap discussions involving Design.
• Stood up DEI efforts at the company, leading a cross-functional effort to form a DEI Committee and define its role within the organization. Served as Chair for the first year of its existence.
• Served as a senior leader on the company's HR Steering Committee

• Redefined the company’s design process based on user-centered principles and helped refine the Product org’s broader product development process to give UX a greater ownership stake
