Leading design initiatives to enhance and expand core features of the Huckleberry app with the goal of helping parents navigate the early days of parenting with ease and confidence.

Analyzed customer data, academic research, and competitive landscape to develop a new feature requirements aimed at addressing customer pain points and appealing to the robot’s evolving customer base. Worked with engineers, designers, and marketers to understand system architecture, technical capabilities, business goals, and design best practices to create a 5-year roadmap focused on generating sustainable recurring revenue.

Taught interdisciplinary cohort of 30 UC Berkeley undergrads who were part of the Fung Fellowship. Developed interactive coursework focused on user research, brainstorming, systems design, UX design, design thinking, project management, storytelling, and communications. Mentored students as they executed projects for real-world clients (mostly environmental nonprofits).

Interviewed product managers, designers, regulatory staff, and clinicians to create an interactive playbook that defines the process for developing and launching new products in telehealth, hospital, and home health contexts. Worked cross functionally with patient-facing product, sales, and marketing teams to develop current-state journey maps outlining the patient care experience to identify inconsistencies and pain points across care delivery products.

Designed and developed product from proof-of-concept prototype to launch of minimum viable product. Conducted discovery interviews with industry experts to inform innovation and create go-to-market strategy. Launched and oversaw a usage study and pilot program in partnership with the San Francisco Fire Department to validate the software product and identify data-driven opportunities to optimize features and user experience. Raised seed funding through government grants and participated in both the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s PULSE accelerator and Stanford University’s StartX accelerator.
