Designed a new system from the ground up for fine-grained, automated controls for temporary access management, raising the security bar for teams across Amazon to apply the principle of least privilege.

Migrated internal enterprise 50 customers from our V1 APIs to the V2 APIs, unblocking deprecation of V1 APIs, significantly reducing code/test overhead, and raising the security bar by adding DDOS prevention measures.
Performed comprehensive load testing of every point in our system architecture, resulting in more than 600 different metrics to ensure that our systems would not fail. Devised complex mechanisms for automating this process. Report was reviewed by management and senior SDEs, unblocking migrations of ~13k groups from our to-be-deprecated access-management system to its replacement. This provided my team with an unprecedented load test system and detailed, repeatable documentation for future testing, preventing outages.

Also added MLex to the Legal News Hub, cross-collaborating with additional teams and completely revamping the design of the News Hub, both in the backend and front-end, generated far more sales lead potential.

● Rewrote mission-critical cron-job infrastructure to run on AWS Lambda via Docker Images, greatly streamlining the process and efficiency of thousands of daily jobs impacting every part of the business ranging from scraping hundreds of thousands of court documents a day to running hundreds of automated article enhancements, sending millions of daily newsletters and alerts, and generating detailed marketing, sales, and tech reports.

● Built library to automate controller and view code generation for 200+ dynamic pages with only a few lines of code per controller, improving performance and allowing for significant infrastructure upgrades.
● Built user-facing chatbot using Amazon Lex, improving customer service workflow and sales output.
