# Bryan Freeland > Product Designer | ex-Meta, ex-Moveworks Location: San Francisco Bay Area, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/bryanfreeland I’m a product designer with over a decade of experience working on large-scale consumer and enterprise products at Meta, Moveworks, eBay, and Apple (contract). I originally found my way into design through computer support work in college, where I saw how often capable people blamed themselves when software didn’t make sense. That experience still shapes how I think about product decisions today. Outside of work, I spend time with my family, do some woodworking, and spend an unreasonable amount of time thinking about pizza. ## Work Experience ### Senior Product Designer @ Moveworks Jan 2025 – Jan 2025 • Led design for Moveworks’ web-based AI Assistant, shaping how multiple assistants work together in a simple, approachable experience. • Delivered the first customer-facing release. ### Senior Product Designer @ Meta Jan 2019 – Jan 2025 | San Francisco Bay Area • Led design initiatives for Facebook Marketplace Search, enhancing discoverability for millions of users. • Partnered with engineering, product, and research to shape strategic vision. • Previously led design for Marketplace Buy & Sell Groups, Buyer Consideration, and Growth Acquisition teams. ### UX Designer @ eBay Jan 2017 – Jan 2019 | San Francisco Bay Area • Designed for iOS, Android, and web experiences across ebay category pages. • Responsible for leading design on a scrum team including visual design and organizing research and accessibility efforts. • Led end to end project for a new motors feature that received coverage across various media outlets and a patent filing. ### UX Designer @ Apple (Contract) Jan 2014 – Jan 2016 | San Francisco Bay Area • Designed for mobile, web, and desktop environments across a wide-range of internal applications. • Responsibilities included leading wireframe creation and updates as well as facilitating research and usability tests. • Partnered with and presented concepts and design iterations to stakeholders, created user flows, visual design specs, and project plans. ### Associate @ Goldman Sachs Jan 2012 – Jan 2013 | Greater Salt Lake City Area • Led numerous ledger integrity projects that ensured firm-wide regulatory compliance and cost efficiency. • Acted as liaison between senior management and developers communicating user needs for enterprise reconciliation platforms. • Managed business continuity planning for the region and led training and mentorship efforts. ### Analyst @ Goldman Sachs Jan 2008 – Jan 2011 | Greater Salt Lake City Area • Completed 61 courses / 160 hours of formal training in communication and presentation skills, financial markets, and project management. • Gained expertise in ledger information architecture and controls and led training efforts. ## Education ### Master of Human-Computer Interaction in Human Computer Interaction Carnegie Mellon University ### Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Latin American Studies Brigham Young University ### Minor in Business Management Brigham Young University ## Contact & Social - LinkedIn: https://linkedin.com/in/freelb - Portfolio: http://www.bryanfreeland.com --- Source: https://flows.cv/bryanfreeland JSON Resume: https://flows.cv/bryanfreeland/resume.json Last updated: 2026-04-13
