Upon joining MakerBot, I led the redesign of the company’s Thingiverse website, best known for being one of the largest global communities for exploring, making, and sharing 3D designs and models. Under my design leadership, the community grew from 27k members to 270k, and from 25k downloadable, 3D printable things to over a whopping 429k. I was instrumental in architecting the MakerBot 3D Ecosystem of products and services. Starting in early 2013, I served as user experience design lead on the award-winning MakerBot Digitizer Desktop 3D Scanner, working closely with a cross-functional team to take MakerBot products to new levels of quality and professionalism. Concurrent with the development and launch of the MakerBot Digitizer, I oversaw the user experience of the complete line of Fifth Generation MakerBot Replicator 3D Printers, the MakerBot Digital Store, native mobile applications, and professional services.
