I am a software engineer with a love for problem solving and building new things. In my projects I enjoy using JavaScript, React, Ruby on Rails, etc. Software development challenges me to think logically, but also gives me the freedom to be creative in how I implement my solutions. Technology and software is always changing which provides a great opportunity for continual learning!

Outside of software development, I am an avid gamer and fitness enthusiast. If I'm not working out, I'm on a call gaming with friends or building my PC. I have recently dived into the hole of custom mechanical keyboards. Looking to build my own soon!

- Took ownership of end to end features. Built out a frontend React component allowing users to set/modify default bid prices. Created the necessary GraphQL end points to upsert and fetch the data used to auto populate new bids.
- Debugged live errors with cross functional team members and deployed hotfixes into production.
- Collaborated with engineers to design internal ruby gems which isolated external services and logic.
- Implemented a Google API in Ruby to speed up the rendering of a user facing iframe by 70%.
