I worked as a Software Engineering Intern on the Enterprise Governance team. I was tasked with fixing a bug with our Terms of Service feature. I was responsible for working with the team and my manager to plan, propose, implement, release, and write documentation on a solution. I ended up moving some processes to the background, working primarily in PHP, Scala, and Python. My code made it into production during my last week.

### Full Stack Software Engineer @ Chainstarters

I did an extended internship, full time during the 2021 summer and part time during the 2021-22 school year. I was responsible for deploying and automating backend resources for both AWS and Google Cloud to be used by applications. These included SQL databases, Kubernetes clusters, and the routing between the cloud resources. I worked on a team managing, building, and testing our GraphQL API that is used by the Chainstarters dashboard, a tool used for rapid, low-code web development. I was also involved in end to end testing and debugging, from the front end JavaScript to the base cloud infrastructures.

A two week, 8-10 hour a day internship. I worked on a team of two and learned a lot of the basics of HTML, Javascript, and CSS, as well as their relation to web design. We also learned about networks, servers, and realtime systems. We then went through the process of developing a web based, multiplayer game using socket.io. See my github for the source code.

### Virtual Tech Camp Instructor @ iD Tech Camps

As a virtual camp instructor, I was responsible for reviewing curriculum, adapting and adding to it to fit my style, and teaching it to children of ages from 6 to 13. Some of the topics I taught included basic Game Design, Java Minecraft modding, coding with Lua, and level design in Roblox. I would teach weekly classes of about 4-6 students. A lot of the job was also communicating with supervisors and fellow instructors in an effort to give the kids the best camp experience.
