This required learning Elm on the job to complete features while the refactor was in progress. • Refactored to newer technologies when it made sense for the performance and maintainability of the app. For example, moving some state management to React Query from Redux and switching from styled components to Tailwind CSS. • Worked closely with designers to standardize our UI components and create reusable components for our component library. • Worked closely with our marketing team to implement custom code and data tracking in our WebFlow app. ### Software Engineer @ Lambda School Jan 2020 – Jan 2022 • Full stack engineer at an online technical education program with a mission to make an education in tech accessible to everyone, regardless of circumstance. • Worked on a customer-facing application on the Admissions Engineering team that utilized React, Typescript, and TailwindCSS on the frontend with a Python backend.
