Hi, I'm Calvin Sun.I'm a UX / Product Designer with a background in industrial design and sound design, currently in my final semester of the MFA in User Experience Design at College for Creative Studies.

My work explores the intersection between digital experiences and real life. I focus on digital product design with an emphasis on physical–digital integration, automotive HMI, and XR experiences, where interaction moves beyond the screen and into the world around us.

I bring a builder mindset to my practice. 
I enjoy transforming ideas into tangible prototypes and witnessing products come to life through real-world user interaction. Creating experiences that people can feel, use, and respond to is what drives my passion. 

I believe the greatest impact of design happens when products extend beyond the screen and meaningfully integrate into everyday life.

• Led a team of two transportation designers in strategic design decisions; conducted user and market research to deliver actionable insights that informed the vision of a 2040 Level 5 autonomous concept vehicle.

• Designed user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity interactive prototypes for an in-car XR HMI system in Figma;
collaborated with interior designers using Blender to visualize and explore future autonomous driving interface concepts

• Contributed to the visual design of a crowdfunding product's marketing website as a UX/UI designer, aligning with user needs and helping the team raise over USD 356,000 (NT$10.7 million) from 2,523 backers in three months
• Conducted stakeholder and ethnographic interviews to identify pain points in e-commerce workflows; designed and implemented UX solutions that improved operational efficiency, resulting in a 50% reduction in shipping labor
• Designed and implemented an interactive WebAR product preview experience, boosting user engagement by 30% and supporting the company’s expansion from local operations to international markets
