Onboarded event-based architecture centered on AWS Lambda and Aurora PostgreSQL from an acquisition; ported over DB, CloudFormation stacks and code to unblock dependent services and support internal testing.
Developed proof-of-concept for summarizing unstructured data with GenAI and RAG which was piloted with 7 customers and led to development of new comment summarization feature.

Led a cross-functional working group comprised of ~15 senior contributors to produce a data access control North Star, unblocking key customer use-cases and improving security and efficiency.
Orchestrated a working group of engineering leaders across 4 teams to solve an architectural issue involving property propagation through a complex ETL specification, unblocking development of a major feature.
Completed 6 proof-of-concept analytics projects with HR teams to gather product requirements; subsequently delivered dozens of improvements to data transformation and analytics products backed by Spark.
Proposed new operations (e.g. aggregations, complex joins, strict order-of-operations) to platform ETL specification to support development of dozens of use-cases; all were accepted and implemented.

Designed and implemented a microservice to support business-critical survey taking use-cases across 100M+ monthly requests, with a focus on consistency, availability and extensibility.
Led extraction of monolithic business logic to microservice architecture. Improved availability to ~99.99%, cut latency 20+% and improved visibility into usage and failures.
Spearheaded adoption of container orchestration platform (Nomad) by onboarding 2 services, producing documentation and tooling, easing transition of 12+ services and cutting days of quarterly manual effort while improving resiliency.

Developed and integrated key parts of Enhanced Anonymity (query-time data anonymization for dashboards), including core logic in a platform analytics API supporting 1B+ monthly queries.
Devised and conducted tests to verify a real-time analytics stack would scale to ~1K concurrent users; diagnosed bottlenecks though service and client-side metrics and triaged across teams.
Shipped dozens of improvements and features across the stack, from data retrieval and formatting logic for new Heatmap widget (part of live product demos) to multi-component bug fixes for urgent issues.

Engaged in timely technical troubleshooting of device and service-related issues for a large variety of mobile devices by applying practical knowledge of devices, mobile operating systems, cellular service, and company troubleshooting procedures and tools.
Served as a subject matter expert for six months assisting dozens of agents on live calls as part of a support team tasked with handling questions, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations, and handling escalated calls when necessary.
Worked with senior trainers to assist up to 25 trainees taking their first live calls by helping them understand company procedures, technical issues, and the 15+ software systems provided to assist them, while providing enthusiastic encouragement.
