* Designed and built massive scalable pipeline for collecting, storing, and analyzing telemetry data from mobile devices running the Mapbox SDKs. High level metrics were available in real time, and historic data processing prioritized security and efficient access.
* Managed a team of data scientists to determine missing or incorrectly tagged maneuvers in OSM to improve routing. Built visual testing suites for qualifying and improving the algorithms.
* Launched an industry best-practice security protocol for collecting and storing sensitive location data including mobile device permissions, anonymization, team access, and consumer opt-out policies for 3rd party developers.
* Converted Mapbox products to run on private, siloed servers as Mapbox Atlas.
* Added Chinese language support and Chinese geodata to Mapbox Geocoding.
* Delivered the first web-map timing library to monitor performance across CDNs.
* Designed customer facing user analytics and billing statistics portal.
