I joined Google's health organization, Verily (formerly Google X), to learn about scaling social impact technology and health AI -- enabling billions of people worldwide to gain access to health care.
▪ Founded our innovation Accelerator, guiding 16+ AI and UX health concepts from raw idea to product-market fit, securing leadership buy-in and early investment.
▪ Led design of our first AI health products (patient coaching, research, imaging) to launch within commercial partnerships of over 14M patients, paving the way for 2025 public beta.
▪ Built our AI strategy, product lifecycle operations, & ethics framework, embedding safety, inclusiveness, and regulatory readiness into development cycles in partnership with cross-functional leaders in Product Management, User Experience, Engineering, Clinical, Regulatory/Legal, and Marketing.
▪Partnered with c-suite on cultural initiatives, creating trainings and enablement tools for every Verily employee on equity and belonging, earning user trust, patient empathy and shared mission, and AI adoption for non-technical talent.
▪ Forged alliances with life sciences, pharmaceutical, health care provider, payer / insurance, and government partners to expand adoption across clinical research and health systems serving 77M+ patients.

I joined this rapidly growing startup to learn to build software as medicine -- behavioral health experiences that could be launched worldwide with no need to swallow a pill.
▪ Led Pear’s design org through IPO, expanding pipeline from 3 to 23 digital therapeutic products and establishing Pear as a platform company.
▪ Designed and launched the first FDA-approved digital therapeutics (substance use disorder, insomnia, depression), achieving improved outcomes over standard pharmaceutical medications and payer reimbursement pathways.
▪ Increased new user acquisition by 210%, retention by 716%, and engagement by 250% through data-informed and human-centered design sprints aimed at our new user experience and engagement features.
▪ Partnered with Chief People Officer to launch a series of culture change trainings and enablement tools that improved creative problem-solving, belonging and inclusion, and storytelling capabilities across the organization.
▪ Streamlined launch cycles by embedding regulatory, clinical, and patient co-design into discovery and new agile launch rituals.

▪Directed IDEO’s Health Studio, a 60+ person org launching dozens of new ventures, products, and services in health, life sciences, and public health.
▪Led global accelerator with St. Jude & WHO, increasing pediatric cancer treatment access in 19 low-resource countries.
▪Designed and launched a portfolio of adherence tools with Gilead for HIV treatment and prevention, adopted by 600K+ people and linked to a 38% reduction in new U.S. HIV infections.
▪Co-created Bedsider.org with community partners, now serving millions with reproductive health education.
▪Supported 200+ health and wellbeing entrepreneurs to achieve product-market fit and secure early funding.
