Machine Learning Infrastructure team (July 2023 -)
Led and architected early-stage planning work for new products and features within Cruise’s machine learning infrastructure platform. Leveraged previous experience with chat and commenting systems to identify key deliverables, prototype scalable designs, and anticipate usage patterns for in-house messaging and annotation tools
Built upon and optimized visualization software rendering AV sensor data in 2D/3D space, helping accelerate both MLE and labeling workstreams by displaying camera, radar, and lidar projections from different angles. Added new logic to filter out point clouds by pulling in terrain data and improved performance when caching and masking information between frames
Handled SQL table creation with end-to-end integration into existing tooling, creating all necessary ORM, server, GraphQL, and frontend logic along the way. Tech stack was primarily Typescript and React (legacy and 18) on client, GraphQL, Go and go-pg/Bun on backend and PostgreSQL/BigQuery backing our data

Assistant Team (Messenger + AR/VR) (May 2018 – July 2019)
Worked primarily on internal tooling for Assistant engineers with a focus on creating new user interfaces from scratch and plugging them into Facebook’s knowledge graph
Built an interactive D3.js-based UI for directed acyclic graphs from the ground up, taking on both design and eng implementation roles throughout the process. Helped accelerate team velocity through easier workflows for viewing resources, visualizing timelines, logs, and other relevant data from a single location
Built a mid-sized internal web crawler for the backend team that allowed scheduling, inspecting, and recursively traversing information trees. Similarly served both design and engineering roles on a largely autonomous basis
Enterprise Engineering (August 2017 – April 2018)
Joined the Enterprise Engineering team at Facebook to help bridge and develop finance applications for the Supply Chain Management department. Worked primarily in React/Flux, Hack/PHP, Flow and GraphQL/Relay, and included some design work in Proton and later Figma
