- Streamed RAC logs into Hadoop Distributed File System using Apache Flume while converting into JSON format and created a dashboard with Kibana 4 so Database Administrators and other users could monitor and troubleshoot database environment

- Wrote configuration files for streaming along with Interceptors and Serializers to sanitize the data going into HDFS and Elastic Search

- Wrote scripts used to test if the secondary NameNode would take over once the primary NameNode was killed in Hadoop, an important step before going into production

-Placed 3rd in UP's annual Hackathon where we successfully identified wheels, bearings, and capscrews on a dimly lit, grayscale image of a train car using the OpenCV library. Project will be put towards automating train car inspections to increase time efficiency.
