. Authenticate and evaluate international credentials from 65+ countries for graduate school admission

. Monitor and update student files using Oracle’s PeopleSoft, Campus Solutions and WebAdmit

. Advise prospective international students on graduate application processes and requirements

. Compile reports for intercampus collaboration to increase resource programs, recruiting and retention

. Comply with U.S. Dept. of Homeland Security policies for issuance of immigration documents (I-20)

. Liaison between office and university departments for comprehensive process development

. Design and Implement Cultural Acclimation Programs for transitioning teens and adults from abroad

. Educate English Language Learners via American grammar and culture classes (Ages 15+)

. Design and teach Lecture Series (TOEFL, Business, General English Skills)

. Participate in campus-wide activities such as International Day

. Counsel and guide students through cultural adjustment process

. Supplement in-class lessons with field trips to museums, theme parks and community service projects

. Develop weekly assessment tools to measure student progress

. Adhere to national accreditation guidelines, curriculum and school policies

. Incorporate global awareness through individual presentations and respectful, cultural discussion

. Organize and encourage student involvement in off-campus field trips and volunteer service

. Develop daily curriculum based on the UK Cambridge Checkpoint Exam standards

. Enhance academic atmosphere utilizing classroom technology: Smart Board, student laptops, etc.

. Manage and monitor student portfolios, attendance, progress, assessments and goals

. Maintain open and regular communication with co-teachers, administration, families and pupils

. Create and schedule campus projects (planting a garden, book fair, coaching the basketball team)

. Build rapport and healthy community with students during recess and homeroom
