Performed isothermal titration calorimetry to better understand the mechanism behind surfactant-polymer interaction at low temperatures. Calculated thermodynamic properties of surfactant-water and surfactant-polymer systems. Prepared nanoemulsions to observe the effect of surfactant concentration and type of surfactant on nanoemulsion gelation temperatures.

Optimized process parameters on a pilot scale for development of new cleaning product. Performed efficacy tests and consumer insight panels to determine which process conditions had the best results as well as consumer acceptance. Process scale-up to manufacturing conditions and further optimization. Quantified a consumer sensory experience by correlating it to a process parameter.
