# Cesar Duran > Engineering @ Ramp Location: New York, New York, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/cesarduran ## Work Experience ### Senior Software Engineer @ Ramp Jan 2025 – Present ### Software Engineer @ Ramp Jan 2024 – Jan 2025 0-1 Built MLDev, a remote development environment for ML Engineers and Applied Scientists that replicates production, enables frictionless data access and massive compute. 0-1 Built Ramp Research, an AI Agent for our data warehouse that enables analytical autonomy on all Ramp data questions. Resulted in a 15x increase in adhoc data questions and a significant reduction in response time (hours -> minutes). ### Software Engineer @ Yext Jan 2022 – Jan 2024 Built up the Data Science Platform at Yext. Implemented key services to support Batch Model Workflows, Model Deployment, and Model Serving at the scale of 1M+ daily requests. Created infrastructure to support monitoring, logging, and alerting to track model performance over time. ### Undergraduate Researcher @ MIT Brain and Cognitive Sciences Jan 2021 – Jan 2023 Working on a self-supervised approach on sound localization. Gained valuable information in job allocation, resource management, and performance optimization when training computer models. ### Data Platforms Development Intern @ InterSystems Jan 2021 – Jan 2021 Converted FHIR Metadata into a digestible OpenAPI Spec to help developers understand the structure of FHIR. Developed a script to allow a user to modify the spec according to their usecase. Modularized the script so that the user can either use local machine or docker containers as they see fit. ### Machine Learning Intern @ Infrrd Jan 2020 – Jan 2021 Joined the Research Team working on information extraction from documents using computer vision. Tested out various approaches towards visual text analysis and learned valuable techniques in industry ML. ### IOT Data Quality Intern @ National Oilwell Varco Jan 2020 – Jan 2020 | Houston, Texas Area Investigated current methods employed by NOV for ensuring Data Quality from IOT sensor data. Evaluated existing products in the market that perform DQ functions such as Bayesian Inference and Generative Adversarial Networks and where gaps exist relative to NOV customer specific needs. ## Education ### Bachelor's degree in Computation and Cognitive Science Massachusetts Institute of Technology ## Contact & Social - LinkedIn: https://linkedin.com/in/cesar-duran-b377a4171 --- Source: https://flows.cv/cesarduran JSON Resume: https://flows.cv/cesarduran/resume.json Last updated: 2026-04-07
