As a Staff Engineer at Belong, I led the frontend team, guiding our codebase's direction while closely collaborating with product and design. My role included onboarding and mentoring new engineers, making sure our projects enhanced user experience and met business needs while following coding best practices.

Proposed and led transition from a monolithic SSR web application deployed on AWS Elastic Beanstalk to a monorepo multi-package Next app deployed to Vercel, significantly reducing infra costs from thousands to almost less than $100.

Integrated Prettier, Storybook, Typescript, Playwright and pre-commit hooks to our codebase to enhance code quality and testing coverage.
