I'm a recent graduate of UC Berkeley, where I achieved a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. When not looking at a computer screen, I've organized and led large-scale legislative projects, helped baby seals through injuries, and published written pieces in the Daily Californian.

### Software Engineer @ Boeing

• Wrote C++ and Python code as part of an Agile team using the Git version control system.
• Designed efficient and reusable software components alongside systems architects and wrote those components using object oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms knowledge.
• Built essential features for multiple time-sensitive software contracts that were both on schedule and fully functional.
• Automated processes with Python scripts and socket programming, eliminating significant labor time.
• Communicated across teams to plan out workflow for software requirements and conducted product demonstrations for customers.

### DevOps/Software Development Engineer Co-op @ IBM
Jan 2022 – Jan 2022
• Successfully provided IBM Open Liberty runtime support for Cargo Tracker, an industry‑level open‑source Jakarta EE 8 application.
• Identified and resolved key full‑stack issues related to Java Messaging Services, JavaServer Faces, and Server‑Sent Events. 
• Authored and released public documentation to Open Liberty users detailing application features and setup as a final project. 
• Configured application databases to ensure compatibility with Open Liberty and released updates to an open‐source Git repository.
• Facilitated the migration of Cargo Tracker through different versions of Open Liberty and Jakarta EE.
• Compared performance of IBM's OpenJ9 runtime against the Oracle HotSpot runtime using Prometheus, Grafana, and JUnit.

### Software Engineering Intern @ ICU Medical

• Authored Python scripts in a Linux environment to automate file management tasks and efficient refactoring of more than 300 outdated files across the testing codebase. 
• Developed tests and conducted testing on new features of ICU Medical’s Plum 360 intravenous infusion system.
• Utilized the Perforce version control system and worked on deadlines to submit code to the software engineering team.

• Organized and assisted in a 35-student lab section for Berkeley's introductory Computer Science course, The Structure and Interpretation of Computer Programs (CS 61A).
