# Charissa Lind > Principal Product Designer | Bringing clarity to regulated, high-stakes products | Systems design, User research, UX strategy Location: Greater Seattle Area, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/charissa The problems I love most are the ones no one wants to touch: tangled regulations, high-stakes decisions, and systems held together by workarounds. I design tools and services that bring clarity to those moments, in domains like immigration, real estate, and business travel. My approach starts with user research and close collaboration with product, engineering, and operations teams. I design across the full system, not just the customer-facing layer: end-to-end experiences, internal tools, and the workflows that connect them. That's where the biggest opportunities for conversion, retention, and operational efficiency live. I'm at my best translating domain complexity into clear steps, building scalable design systems, and making the case for design decisions with evidence. If you're working on something messy and meaningful, I'd like to hear about it. ## Work Experience ### Principal Product Designer @ Upstart Jan 2026 – Present ### Principal Product Designer @ Boundless Immigration Jan 2022 – Jan 2025 Led design and research for family and enterprise immigration products across conversion funnel, core consumer workflows, and operations tools.
