-Conducting cancer research under Prof. Douglas A. Lauffenburger, head of the Biological Engineering Department of MIT
-Culturing both the colorectal cancer cell line HCT116 and the human breast carcinoma line MDS-MB-231
-Inducing apoptosis using TNF-related apoptosis-inducing ligand (TRAIL) and the chemotherapeutic drug docetaxel
