Designed and built Gemini’s lamda_cli LLM evaluation platform powering post-training iteration and release validation for all Google/DeepMind LLM releases from Bard 1.0 (3/2023) to Gemini 2.5 (3/2025) and Gemini 3 (11/2025). Founded Bard/Gemini evaluation infrastructure team and Everest evaluation platform team. Scaled support to hundreds of evaluation types with a wide range of integrations and execution strategies. Led infra generalization effort making lamda_cli Google’s primary evaluation platform for user-facing LLM surfaces, with 100+ customer teams (Search, YouTube, Workspace, etc.), 4000+ internal users and millions of platform eval runs.

Google Brain / Tensorflow / Core ML

Developer and lead for Tensorflow Extended (TFX), a machine learning and ML-ops platform and its successor Tflex. Built SDK and component primitives, optimized Apache Beam-based execution at scale and directed collaborations with Vertex AI and external users (Twitter, Spotify). Led the Interactive Tflex research-to-production and iterative development initiative, producing a seamless notebook, CLI, pipeline and model lineage tracking experience across ML development modalities.

Google Cloud Dataflow / Apache Beam

Developer of Google Cloud Dataflow, a large-scale batch and streaming data processing system (open-sourced as Apache Beam). Built Dataflow’s worker orchestration infrastructure, reliably supporting thousands of compute workers per job. Built the Dataflow Python SDK and runtime. Implemented integrations with Google’s Cloud Storage and Cloud Debugger. Implemented reference runner for streaming Beam Python pipeline execution. Led development of Beam Python’s stateful processing API. Committer for Apache Beam.

Developed highly accurate cross-species computational genome screens for the discovery of novel phylogenetically-conserved genomic enhancer sequences. Screen results reproduced known enhancers and produced novel candidate elements, which were subsequently validated in vivo in transgenic zebrafish.

Delivered 20x speedups in performance-critical rendering components of Palantir Metropolis. Designed and implemented an interactive HHLang (Palantir Metropolis domain-specific language) code editor and developed a new JavaScript parser-generator. Developed new static analysis tools.
