Carmatic combined tooling to allow dealership employees to understand inventory, build deals on-the-fly, then stay connected to customers based on deals built in-house or remotely. As an individual contributor, I worked on everything design-related at Carmatic -- our flagship web app, investor presentations, marketing collateral, and I built Carmatic's marketing website from scratch in Jekyll. With co-founders and our head of strategy, I ran user testing sessions to try to understand the value proposition of our offering, and what dealership management and employees needed for our tool to reach product-market fit. ### Lead Product Designer (Founding Product Designer) @ Protonn Jan 2021 – Jan 2021 | Los Angeles, California, United States I led the product design function at Protonn (and contributed as an IC), where we were building an iOS app to allow independent professionals to abstract their back-office operations (accounting, billing, marketing, etc). I took the flagship iOS app from pitch deck mockups to a fully functional app in 3 months, while managing 4 design team members in Bangalore and Warsaw. ### Director of Design @ Eat App Jan 2019 – Jan 2020 | Dubai I led the design team at Eat App, the top restaurant management software startup in MENA. Responsible for design hiring and mentorship, day-to-day design operations, design/business strategy, and organizational design. During my time at Eat App, our design team went from just myself to a team of 5. ### UX Designer @ Mirum Agency Jan 2018 – Jan 2019 | Dubai At Mirum, I worked on UX for blue chip MENA brands, including HSBC, Jumeirah Hotels, and FAB Bank. I did IA, customer journies, research, wireframes, user testing, and optimization strategy for these brands. ### UX Designer @ Booking.com Jan 2014 – Jan 2018 | Amsterdam Area, Netherlands At Booking.com, one of the world's largest accommodations OTAs, I used A/B testing, data analysis, user testing, and user focused design to improve the user experience (and do conversion rate optimization) on different platforms, from e-mail and tablet web to desktop.
