I have over 10 years professional experience in full stack web application development. Most of this experience has been building websites and mobile apps using Javascript and Ruby on Rails. I am familiar with most modern development practices on both small and large teams. I have played a role in building out fully remote engineering teams going back 3+ years prior to Covid. I have developed on Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, and owned hardware. This development utilized a wide range of data storage systems including MySQL, NoSQL (MongoDB, BigTable), Spark, Hbase, Redis, Memcache and several others.

I am always open to learning new languages or frameworks. I love difficult projects that require heavy team effort. I have been lucky enough to work with and learn from some of the best software engineers in the industry, and I hope to continue that experience going into any future projects/companies.

Architected and built an enterprise reporting dashboard that combined data from multiple sources into a single unified location for 100's of businesses with 10,000s of tracked users.
Built a user experience that branched across multiple tools with a single login and complex data flows between each separate application.
Built in AI connections to an education application that allowed for customized experiences built for each user. Added AI tools into each step of the engineering development process and helping the team adopt these tools.

### Software Engineering Team Lead @ Self Employed / Sale Under NDA
Jan 2021 – Jan 2024 | Scranton, Pennsylvania, United States
Led a small team in constructing a full featured advertising network that consisted of management tools for both demand and supply side customers. Developed a Node/Express/React based platform for advertisers to create and manage campaigns that can be targeted to specific groups based on dozens of criteria. Designed a data driven market for these campaigns that matched the required targeting with a best case automated bidding system. Created a set of pixel libraries that provided easy drop in advertisements across most web and mobile platforms while collecting the necessary data to power the market.

Senior software engineer on a new team designed to develop tools for the creation of future projects using modern programming languages and libraries such as Ruby on Rails and Vue.js. Main projects focused on the advancement of the search tools for customers and on a management dashboard for business to business development that required heavy white labeling of the legacy web site for university clients.

Architect, manage, and play a key role in the development of mobile and web applications built for the wine industry. Mobile applications were rapidly built with a reusable white label React Native framework. These apps handled ecommerce sales, marketing, user subscriptions, and customer support. The backend system, built using Ruby on Rails, connected to external integrations such as legacy ecommerce inventory platforms, payment providers, social media networks, shipping/tax services, and fulfillment centers. These integrations had to work with in the automated building, testing, and deployment of the mobile applications.

### Chief Technology Officer - Full Stack Engineer @ Automate Ads

Development of automated machine learning system used as the core driver of Automate Ads paid media campaigns. Design, development, testing, and scaling of the Backbone.js based front end web app as well as the Node.js back end API. This was accomplished using a multitude of different software languages, database solutions, big data technologies, and cloud hosting environments. The entire product was completed using a small team of 3 engineers.
