I successfully led one of the product teams for a year and a half before moving into an individual contributor role within an internal-facing engineering team.

I played a key role in the evolution from on-premises microservices to a multi-tenant cloud-based SaaS offering. Further work included taking the lead on the design and creation of a core microservice for the SaaS product, ensuring it was highly scalable and capable of handling large message throughputs in an idempotent manner.

On top of the day-to-day development, I was central to the rearchitecture of an existing software suite from a monolith to microservices following DDD principles. I took the initiative to build a strong DevOps culture within the business, leading by example and promoting good practices for all development processes.
