Assisted Dr. Lokendra Pal in his research on Municipal Solid Waste Characterization. Developed a pipeline to build a data repository consisting of high spectral images and other sensory data (such as moisture, weight) on the cloud used for training ML models.

Created a React Frontend Application with a Django backend service that leveraged IBM Cloud services like the Cloud Object Storage & Cloudant NoSQL Storage. Hosted the application code on NCSU Enterprise Github, created CI/CD pipelines using IBM Cloud Toolchains & used Kubernetes for orchestrating the deployment of containerized applications.

As part of the Special Clouds Engineering Team, conceptualised & designed a common buildout orchestration platform that automates the task of setting up a new cloud with a large number of Microsoft365 services (that use different deployment engines).

This platform helped in scaling different cloud types - GoLocal, Sovereign, Air-Gapped Clouds in a region agnostic manner and reduced the cloud setup time from 3 yrs to 3 months.
