Engineering solutions for the Ford Pro Charging charge management system.

Worked as development lead for a complete overhaul of the charge management system's reporting functionality. Helped engineer a new reporting system using NestJS, MongoDB, and Apache Kafka, utilizing the CQRS and event sourcing design patterns, to provide insights quickly and accurately.

Led a team of engineers working on a customer-facing product using Node.js and Angular, driving feature design, documenting comprehensive requirements, executing code reviews, and managing collaborative processes. Developed and maintained a Python & SQL Server backend, processing millions of real-time streaming messages daily via Apache Kafka.

Designing and engineering the backend of a parking availability mobile app, utilizing Node.js, Python, and SQL Server, and leveraging AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, and API Gateway.

Maintaining a Node.js/Typescript device communication server, ensuring continuous functionality.

Orchestrating a migration of a mission-critical database while minimizing downtime and disruption utilizing Azure Data Factory.

Working in various roles along the whole technology stack, mostly with the back-end business logic (Python) and databases (SQL), on a team working on developing a next generation product, while supporting the current generation product as well.

Examples of work include: writing Kafka producers and consumers, external API integrations (ETL), data migration from the old system to the new, managing all DDL changes for multiple SQL Server databases, leading an effort to research and migrate millions of device and other logs from SQL Server to CockroachDb, monitoring database usage, design and upkeep of 100+ customer facing report files, and providing in-depth documentation and UI mock-ups to an external UI team based in India.
