I am a software engineer with experience in the defense industry and surgical robotics field. In my most recent position, I designed and implemented infrastructure tools at Verb Surgical to aid in the development of their next-gen surgical robot. My academic background consists of a B.S. in electrical engineering with a heavy focus on robotics and device software.

I would say my biggest asset is my enthusiasm. I have the natural tendency to get really excited about the projects I work on, which drives me to go above and beyond. I get a lot of enjoyment out of working on interesting projects. In fact some of my best memories from University of the Pacific come from my senior project, a Brain Controlled Robot. We developed a brain computer interface from scratch and used it to allow people to move a robot with their brain. The whole team got very excited about the project, causing us to put in some pretty crazy hours. I firmly believe that the project succeeded because of the passion the team had for it. I think the best work is done when you are excited about what you do. I am just lucky enough to be excited about many types of projects.
