# Chris Hendriksen > Ops & Strategy Leader | Building scalable systems in high-growth, ambiguity-heavy environments | Currently shipping an AI productivity app Location: San Francisco Bay Area, United States Profile: https://flows.cv/chrishendriksen When transaction volume doubles faster than anyone planned for, most ops teams patch it with spreadsheets and hope. Honestly, sometimes that’s the right call. If the spreadsheet works, ship the spreadsheet. The fix doesn’t need to be elegant — it needs to hold under pressure. What matters is seeing the problem clearly, building something that actually works, and knowing when it’s time to graduate to something more permanent. That’s what I spent the last several years doing at a high-growth proptech company, designing and scaling operating systems that kept complex, high-volume transactions moving, even when the tools weren’t pretty. When the right systems landed, clients noticed immediately. Most growing companies don’t have a strategy problem. They have a gap between strategy and execution. That’s the gap I live in. Outside of work, I’m building Rotation — an AI-powered app that gives people a focused morning briefing on where to start their day. Building something from zero has made me a sharper operator. Shipping a product and running ops have a lot more in common than people think. I do my best work in messy, high-growth environments where the playbook doesn’t exist yet. I’m currently exploring my next role. If you’re building something like that, I’d love to connect. ## Work Experience ### Manager - Operations, Design & Strategy @ Mainstay Jan 2024 – Jan 2026 | San Francisco Bay Area I helped stand up and scale a new business line from 0→1, turning an ambiguous concept into a repeatable, revenue-generating operation.
