Mobile party app for Yale students that uses GPS to figure out how many people are at parties on campus in real-time. Integrated with Google Maps, SendGrid and Facebook APIs. Used shallow database nesting to greatly increase query speed of friends and emails in the NoSQL database. Implemented caching and lazy loading for large lists of Facebook friends. Redeveloped MovesU in React Native, Angular/Node.js, and TypeScript. One of 2 students to selected to speak at TEDxYale entrepreneuership workshop. App received mentions in the Yale Daily News. At its peak, the app was used by 20% of Yale undergraduates (Listed as MovesU in the Google Play and iOS App stores).

Designed and developed a large feature for production in the Grubhub iOS 12 app involving Siri's machine learning framework to predict when diners want to reorder their favorite meals and prompt a reorder via push notification. Implemented polymorphic protocols and methods to ensure feature scalability. Worked with product and design teams directly to create new UI/UX elements. Gained substantial experience with agile development and kanban. Implemented unit and UI automation tests as well as fixed longstanding user interface bugs.
