Coordinated with the product team to convert requirements into technical implementation plans and estimate effort. Developed a web application using the React framework, existing Onit API’s, and the Microsoft Office Javascript API. Created a RESTful web service using the Spring Boot framework to generate contract documents from templates. Automated the deployment of the web application and service to AWS using Jenkins. Leveraged Jest and Enzyme to unit test the React client, and Postman/JUnit to test the web service. Utilized a technical stack consisting of React/TypeScript on the frontend and Spring/Java/Postgres on the server side. ### Software Engineer @ Quorum Software Jan 2018 – Jan 2019 | Houston, Texas Area Developed web UI’s to assist in the migration of thirty clients from desktop to web based land management software. Developed title functionality for Quorum’s Land Acquisition software. Developed a batch process to interface Quorum Software with external CMIS providers (such as Documentum). Worked within an agile team to report, analyze, and develop solutions for bugs in the land management software. Wrote unit tests to improve code coverage and remediated non-functioning unit tests. Assisted in the transition of source control from Microsoft Team Foundation Server to Azure DevOps. Created and maintained the capital allocation table for the company. ### Drilling Engineer @ Shell Jan 2014 – Jan 2017 | Houston, Texas Prepared and oversaw the execution of drilling programs for onshore shale wells in Argentina and West Texas. Created and managed the master drilling program for Argentina to capture best practices from well to well, resulting in per well costs dropping from $14,000,000 to $7,500,000 in Argentina over a one year drilling campaign. Collaborated with contractors and internal contracting and procurement team to ensure contracts were fit for purpose, which resulted in a reduction in daily tool rental costs from $70,000 to $57,000. Supervised drilling operations in the field, managing a team of ten people to deliver wells safely, on budget, and on schedule. ### Drilling Engineering Intern @ Shell Jan 2013 – Jan 2013 | Houston, Texas Designed surface and subsurface components of a multi-well pad for potential shale development in Argentina. Coordinated with drilling, completions, and production teams to ensure pad design met all requirements for successful development. Performed torque and drag modeling to determine the limit for extended laterals and horizontal step-outs given current equipment capabilities and technical standards. Designed wellbore trajectories from the multi-well pad to adhere to anti-collision requirements. ### Support Systems Engineering Intern @ Boeing Jan 2012 – Jan 2012 | Phoenix, Arizona Worked with the support systems engineering team to design ground support equipment for the Apache AH-64D Block III helicopter. Designed foreign object debris covers using Unigraphics Computer Assisted Design Software. Performed quality control on computer assisted design model of various ground support equipment. Updated the inventory of parts needed for each piece of ground support equipment. ### Natural Gas Engineering Intern @ CenterPoint Energy Jan 2011 – Jan 2011 | Houston, Texas Worked with a team of engineers to improve the CenterPoint Energy natural gas distribution system in the Texas Gulf Coast area. Designed six new regulation stations and tie-ins between different areas of the natural gas distribution system. Planned and wrote programs for five pipeline integrity tests.
