My name is Christian, and I am a senior software engineer within the Platform team at CAPE Analytics, working on driving property insights for commercial insurance carriers.

What I love most about software is its capability to connect the world, no matter what the industry is. Being an owner and a key contributor to big projects at CAPE has taught me that I am driven by the impact that my work brings to people.  My long-term career goal is to become a backend engineer who is knowledgeable on how real-world systems are designed in order to understand why a design may work for one platform while it might not work so well for another. I want to continue shipping impactful products and I am willing to dive deeper into both the technical and non-technical aspects of the business in order to draw stronger connections throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Developed the Commercial Lines (CL) API v2 in Python, which accelerated underwriting workflows by enabling clients to gather property data across 200 addresses as opposed to one address.
