At Digital NEST, I’m apart of the Web & Information Technology (WIT) pathway, where I develop and implement curriculum tailored to youth aged 17 to 24, focusing on Web Development, Front-End Development, UX/UI, and preparing students for industry-recognized certifications. My role involves not only teaching but also mentoring and advising young individuals from working-class communities, helping them to build technical skills and launch their careers in tech.

Key responsibilities include creating and updating course materials to reflect the latest industry standards, facilitating weekly lab sessions, and coaching students towards on-the-job training positions. Additionally, I engage with local high schools, community colleges, and community leaders to recruit new participants and raise awareness of our programs.

In this role, I am passionate about empowering the next generation of tech talent and helping them achieve their dreams by providing them with the knowledge, skills, and mentorship needed to succeed in today's digital economy.

As a Web Developer Intern at Digital Nest, I had the opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic team of interns on various projects. During my internship, I actively contributed to the development of full-stack applications, utilizing my skills in frontend and backend technologies. This experience not only enhanced my technical abilities but also provided valuable insights into working effectively within a team environment. I engaged in project planning, coding, testing, and deployment, gaining hands-on experience in the end-to-end development process. I excel in answering students' questions, providing clear explanations, and offering valuable insights to help them understand complex concepts. Additionally, I conduct comprehensive code reviews to ensure that students' projects meet all requirements and adhere to industry standards. As a Software Engineer Intern, I gained valuable experience in backend deployments and front-end frameworks, working collaboratively with teams of interns to create impactful projects. I contributed to the development of innovative solutions using technologies such as React, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML. My role involved not only coding but also actively participating in team discussions, conducting code reviews, and ensuring project requirements were met.
