Services include cash management, access to an online and mobile-friendly bank account and cashless payment solutions. Dama’s robust risk and compliance system meets legal and regulatory anti-money laundering guidelines for working with cannabis-related businesses. 

The company was founded in 2016 by entrepreneurs and veterans from the banking and payments industry. It has since been bought out by LeafLink to offer customers in the cannabis space with banking opportunities.

### Supporting Software Engineer @ GrowFlow

GrowFlow is an end-to-end inventory management, compliance, and point-of-sale system for all legal cannabis markets. The software serves all license types up and down the cannabis supply chain. There are specific versions for Wholesale and Retail operations.

Dama Financial was acquired by LeafLink in July 2024. When this occurred, the banking side of the company moved over to LeafLink. At the same time, the GrowFlow side of the business detached from Dama Financial and became a standalone SaaS solutions brand for retailers and wholesalers in the cannabis space.

When working as a student information technology technician, managing the university's device network of 2500 clients (students/faculty/staff) was of utmost importance. Shifts consisted of 3+ hours to troubleshoot Windows and Mac operating systems, printers, phones, and other devices in-person and remotely. Hardware repairs and installs were done upon request on motherboards, network cards, hard drives, and optical drives. Used SaaS apps like Office365, managed clients through Windows Active Directory, Bombgar, and Kace imaging.

As a student web developer, our small team of 3+ developers worked together to create new features and web pages, bug fixes, and improvements for Susquehanna University. Interactive web applications were created and maintained for the on-campus safety department, student portals, and more. Since the backend was built with the .NET model-view-controller pattern, C# was used with LINQ queries to access our SQL database. Frontend features were made using barebones HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with AJAX to make async changes.
