I was tasked with investigated feasibility and value of building D.E. Shaw's first native mobile app for their internal search engine. I began with a research phase into the current mobile experience at the company which culminated in a written proposal containing the bottom line recommendation to build said native app. I then built POC apps for Android + iOS in React Native, Xamarin, Swift, and Java. I worked with a co-lead to organized team meetings, delegated task to our members, and coordinated with other teams to ensure the event ran smoothly. We secured 20 sponsors and raised over $40,000 for the event. ### Web Developer @ Hack@Brown Jan 2017 – Jan 2018 | Providence, Rhode Island Area I worked on Hack@Brown's Development team to help build the website for the 2018 hackathon. I specifically worked with a partner to build the "Hacker Dashboard". The dashboard allows hackers to edit their application and notifies them if they have been accepted. ### Explorer Intern @ Microsoft Jan 2018 – Jan 2018 | Redmond, Washington I worked on the WiAD PM team. Specifically, I worked on Windows Security. I did a rotation in PM where I designed features that would increase accessibility of the security app as well as make it easier for users to find general security information. Then, I did a rotation in development where I coded these features. Finally, I conducted a user study to test the usability and success of the features.
