- Researched new laser scanning strategies that resulted in decreased surface finish defects in printed parts and implemented the algorithms to generate the laser paths in Formlabs' PreForm software (C++ )
- Developed a custom, infrared radiation simulation to generatively design manufacturable parts optimizing uniform irradiance within the Fuse 1 printer (Python)
- Created statistical analysis tools to record, process, and analyze thermal image data from FLIR thermal cameras used for calibration and R&D work on printers (Python)
- Worked with Product team members to research content for customer-facing design guides
- Performed initial research to inform the thermal design of the Fuse 1 build cylinder
