Polyglot full-stack developer with extensive experience in Python and Java, now with a focus on JavaScript and learning many other languages such as Ruby in my spare time. Drawn to Computer Science by a love for logical thinking as well as creative problem solving, getting a BS in it amidst the COVID-19 pandemic from the Catholic University of America in Washington DC. Developed the Life of Loan platform which hosted thousands of mortgages on multi-family rental and single family properties touching all phases of the business. Contributed to a lean development team following Agile Scrum Methodology. Proposed and led efforts to document platform development and troubleshooting using Confluence. Designed and developed for Angular Frontend, C# .NET Backend, Ionic Mobile, MSQL Database, and Salesforce. Gained experience leading development of assorted domains on which I became subject matter expert.

Worked on an enterprise level application responsible for processing over a billion dollars of transactions for a number of Fortune 100 companies, fitting the existing system to each client’s specifications and design standards. Communicated effectively with team members and supervisors including collaborative work. All user stories executed to a standard dictated and vetted by Production and QA teams which required detailed understanding of problems and knowledgeable discussion. Executed tasks predominantly using JavaScript, React, and Adobe AEM but often learned new technologies in short time frames such as Selenium.

For two summers led Boy Scouts ages 12-18 on week long canoe trips in the rivers and lakes of the Adirondacks with a focus on enabling the boys by the end of the week. When in camp responsibilities included maintenance of the camp facilities and operations. The second year was responsible for both organizing and distributing inventory among staff and campers. Necessitated organization and deep knowledge of both materials and personnel. Practiced instructional and leadership skills as well as devising optimal plans within certain criteria. Trained people skills to deal with wide range of campers, parents, other staff, rangers, other recreators, and inspectors. Dealt with unique problems without much specific preparation or resources but handled them well using sound judgement, considering relevant variables, and general preparedness.
