UI/Generalist role with a strong involvement in product development/planning around frequently shifting priorities.
Began role developing a responsive mobile/desktop app written in Backbone and Node which was deployed to mobile platforms via PhoneGap and offered the full feature set across all platforms.
After a shift in business direction, I had the opportunity to help develop an entirely new app built in React + Redux, new (at the time) ES6 features via Babel and promising new practices like CSS Modules and immutable data.
My role on both apps was steered by a heavy emphasis on modularization and the notion that all UI components should be capable of running and being developed in isolation from the rest of the app.
Additional work was performed in monitoring metrics and developing quick proof of concepts to investigate potential business decisions.
