DoughRise is made with millennials in mind and offers an easy way to review your budgets and track your spending on the go — all in one place. With DoughRise, you can connect to Google Sheets and easily import or export all of your budgets. At my time at DoughRise, I was part of a team of 6 people where we used Agile Methodologies (Scrum) to dynamically bring DoughRise to life. I collaborated with the Project/Product Manager, UX/UI designers, and another Software Engineer in order to create and deliver a working product. At DoughRise, I was responsible for building responsive, dynamic user interfaces for the web and mobile applications using React, React Native, Google Sheets API, and Express. I was part of an immediate team of 3 people and a larger team of around 50 people. During my time as Subsidiary Rights Associate at Simon & Schuster, I collaborated with the VP and Director of Subsidiary Rights to sell foreign and domestic/serial rights to S&S titles. I was responsible for crafting and pitching serial excerpts to targeted magazines, newspapers, and online outlets in order to help garner interest in our books.
