Key Responsibilities:
• Mixed-Methods Research: I lead and execute a variety of research methodologies, including surveys, diary studies, usability tests, and interviews.
• Stakeholder Engagement: I collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and share detailed research reports, ensuring that key stakeholders have access to timely and actionable insights. This communication is crucial for aligning product development with user needs and expectations.
• User-Centric Insights: I focus on distilling user-centric insights from research findings, identifying patterns and trends that are critical for shaping product design, features, and functionalities.
• Usability Testing: I conduct rigorous usability tests to evaluate prototypes and existing features, pinpointing areas for improvement and validating design decisions.
• Diary Studies: I have organized and analyzed diary studies to gain longitudinal insights into user behavior, providing a deeper understanding of how users interact with smartphones & other devices over time.
• Internal Testing Program Leadership: In addition to external research, I also lead the internal testing program. This involves organizing and overseeing tests among Google employees, providing perspective on product usability and functionality.
Impact:
Through my role, I contribute significantly to the user-centered design process, ensuring that Google's Pixel products meet and exceed user expectations. This has been reflected in the hardware design and software features in Pixels 6 through 8, as well as our first foldable phone.
